For so many years, citizens of Catalonia have asked for our right to vote if we would like to be an independent country or not. I believe this is a matter of democracy. However, Spanish Government do not allow Catalonia to do a referendum and to decide how we want to live our own future.
This constant veto is lived lately as a frustration for so many Catalans and it often just divides us while trying to find what is the best way to make them understand that for us voting is nothing against Spain.
Living in the UK has given me the opportunity to discuss about it with many people from abroad and most of the times, when we were debating what was going on in Catalonia, people just could not understand why we cannot vote. So one month ago I tought that maybe we could do something else.
I just want you to think, everytime you feel sceptical, that there is someone who lives very far from you, who is not even from your culture, who does not speak your language, that supports our cause and believes that we have the right to vote.
